New Delhi, Nov. 30 -- Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday said that based on the feedback received from party workers in the 12 wards where MCD by-polls were held today, the BJP's performance will be "excellent".

Speaking to journalists after the conclusion of voting in the Delhi Municipal Corporation by-elections, Sachdeva said that it was for the first time that by-polls were held simultaneously in twelve wards of the MCD, creating an entirely new situation.

According to Sachdeva, generally the voter turnout in such local elections in Delhi is low, and the same trend was seen on Sunday, in the municipal by-elections.
