Srinagar, Sept. 22 -- Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and BJP leader Sunil Sharma today hit out at Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accusing him of indulging in "narrative politics" instead of focusing on development.

Sharma alleged that Omar wanted to create narratives around administrative issues while simultaneously taking credit for transfers and other government decisions.

"Wherever he gets a chance to work, he says he has no power. But at the same time, he wants to decide transfers and write stories behind them," Sharma told reporters in Srinagar after attending a party exhibition at Lal Chowk showcasing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life and journey.
