Ranchi, Dec. 16 -- Jharkhand Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Irfan Ansari has strongly objected to the letter written by Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, alleging irregularities in the paddy procurement process.
Ansari said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has become politically frustrated, directionless and disconnected from the public in Jharkhand, and is therefore making unfounded allegations in a desperate attempt to remain in the headlines.
Ansari categorically rejected the allegations, stating that there is no irregularity whatsoever in the paddy procurement process.
