Kolkata, Aug. 21 -- BJP legislator and state general secretary Agnimitra Paul was admitted to a private hospital near Eastern Metropolitan Bypass late yesterday night after she developed fever and breathing difficulties.
Doctors have advised that she must be kept under observation for the next 48 hours. Sources said Paul, the MLA from Asansol South, was taken ill yesterday evening and had to cut short her political engagements in Asansol due to the sudden deterioration of her health.
She rushed back to Kolkata, but as her condition did not improve with primary medication, she was shifted to the hospital at night. Paul is currently under the supervision of Dr Sushmita Choudhury. Hospital authorities said her condition is stable at present,...
