Jaipur, Sept. 29 -- Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken serious exception to the ruling BJP spokesman's remark made on live TV, about shooting LoP Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi in the chest.
The senior Congress leader Gehlot, in a recorded statesman on X handle, expressed serious concerns on silence of the ruling party President J P Nadda over his party spokesman's comment and demanded stringent action against him.
The three timer ex-CM also urged for public apology by Nadda on this issue.
Gehlot said "The entire country knows how (they) shot dead Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi for they were resolve-full to maintain the unity in the country. Rahul Gandhi has also been spearheading his campaigns for this very cause.
