Patna, Oct. 14 -- The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) today unveiled its first list of 71 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
A surprise exclusion is seasoned leader and Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishor Yadav who is the sitting MLA from Patna Sahib.
BJP National General Secretary and Headquarters In-Charge Arun Singh released the list which includes several prominent leaders and ministers from the current Bihar government, reflecting the party's strategy to balance experience, regional representation, and caste equations ahead of the polls.
Among those named in the first list are Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with senior leaders Tarkishore Prasad, Renu Devi, Prem Kumar, Mangal Pandey...
