Lucknow, Dec. 8 -- As the extended deadline of December 11 for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls in Uttar Pradesh approaches, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its organizational activities across the state.

The party has instructed all its units, from the booth level to the top leadership, to give "top priority" to the verification process.

According to party sources here on Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has clearly instructed MLAs to set aside all non-essential programs for at least a week and dedicate themselves entirely to the SIR exercise.
