Chennai, May 3 -- In his first visit weeks after the revival of alliance with the main opposition AIADMK, BJP National President and Union Minister J P Nadda on Saturday held a meeting with the core committee members of the Party's Tamil Nadu unit, discussed and reviewed the 2026 Assembly poll strategy and the preparatory works.

Newly-elected BJP State Unit President and Legislature Party Leader Nainar Nagendran, who is a former AIADMK strongman commanding enough influence in the southern districts, senior Leaders including BJP TN-incharge P Sudhakar Reddy, Convenor H Raja, National Mahila Morcha President Vanathi Srinivasan, also an MLA, former State Presidents Ms Tamiliisai Soundararajan, Pon Radhakrishnan and others.
