Bengaluru, Aug. 10 -- The Congress today launched a sharp attack on the BJP over what it termed the persistent neglect of Karnataka's capital, alleging that neither the central government nor the state's BJP leaders had done enough to secure the city's rightful share of development funds.
Addressing reporters here, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar said Bengaluru, as India's technology hub and economic powerhouse, deserved treatment on par with the national capital in terms of funding, infrastructure, and strategic focus.
