Bengaluru, Feb. 13 -- BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Thursday completed a sortie on the HTT-40, India's fully indigenous Basic Trainer Aircraft, at the ongoing Aero Show.
Following his flight, Surya underscored the nation's journey towards self-reliance in defence manufacturing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"The HTT-40 represents India's journey from scandal to self-reliance, from foreign dependency to Atmanirbharta," Surya stated, drawing a contrast between past procurement irregularities and present advancements in indigenous defence capabilities.
