BJP MP Raghunandan Rao receives threat call allegedly from Maoists

Hyderabad, June 23 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Raghunandan Rao received a threatening call on Monday from an unidentified individual claiming to be a Maoist.

The caller reportedly warned that Rao would be killed by the evening of the same day.

The incident occurred while Raghunandan Rao was attending a program at a school in Dammaiguda, Medchal-Malkajgiri district. The caller, who claimed to be calling from Madhya Pradesh, made the threat over the phone, which was answered by the MP's personal assistant.
