Ahilyanagar, Oct. 17 -- Shivaji Bhanudas Kardile, Bharatiya Janata Party MLA and chairman of the Ahilyanagar Zilla Sahakari Bank, passed away on Friday at the age of 67 after a brief illness.

He was the sitting MLA representing the Nagar-Rahuri-Pathardi constituency in Maharashtra.

Kardile reportedly experienced chest pain early in the morning. Though family members rushed him to a private hospital, he passed away before he could be admitted.
