Agartala, Sept. 23 -- Tripura police have launched an investigation following a major security breach during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Tripura Sundari temple complex, after a large crowd led by local BJP MLA Abhishek Debroy pushed past security barricades.
A video circulating online shows MLA Debroy moving barricades and leading a crowd toward the Prime Minister's area, despite police efforts to control the situation yesterday.
Debroy was seen engaging in heated exchanges with security personnel, reportedly shouting at them while urging the crowd forward.
