Sasaram, March 10 -- Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor on Tuesday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) misled the people of Bihar by projecting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as its leader during Assembly elections for electoral gains.

Kishor, popularly known as PK, was speaking to reporters here during his Bihar Navnirman Abhiyan Yatra.

He claimed that senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah, were aware of Nitish Kumar's health condition but still contested Assembly elections under his leadership.

Kishor said he had earlier raised concerns over Kumar's health and had predicted that he would not continue as chief minister after the Bihar Assembly elections.
