Agartala, April 17 -- TIPRA Motha decisively secured 24 out of 28 seats in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) election, marking a significant victory. The BJP managed to win only four seats, with the Congress and CPI-M failing to secure any.
In the 2021 ADC elections, the BJP won nine out of the 13 seats it contested, while TIPRA Motha emerged victorious in 18 out of 28 seats. Following the elections, an independent candidate joined the BJP, increasing its tally to 10 seats.
