Bengaluru, March 8 -- Bhratiya Janata Party's Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha member, Pratap Simha, on Friday subjected to a court custody for brief while by a city court for defying its orders to appear personally in a defamation suit filed by the cine star and social activist Prakash Raj (Rai). The magistrate of the People Representatives Court, remanded the BJP MP for a court's custody, when the former had attended the court, after he and his advocate failed to respond several notices to appear before it in the defamation suit over his twitter comments against Mr Rai.
