Bengaluru, Oct. 14 -- Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, who was recently hospitalised due to a urinary tract infection, is now recovering at home.
He was discharged from Manipal Hospital yesterday after receiving medical treatment and has been advised to rest for a week.
Today, Karnataka Opposition Leader and senior BJP MLA R Ashoka, visited Deve Gowda at his residence to inquire about his health.
The 92-year-old JD(S) patriarch was accompanied by former ministers CT Ravi and Munirathna, legislators S Muniraju, Ravi Subramanya, Sateesh Reddy, and other party leaders during the visit.
Hospital officials had previously stated that Deve Gowda is in stable condition and responding well to treatment.
