Meerut, Jan. 2 -- BJP leader and former Uttar Pradesh MLA Sangeet Som has attacked Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan for hiring Bangladeshi cricketer Mustafizur Rahman in his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The BJP leader termed the actor and co-owner of KKR as a "traitor" for including a Bangladeshi cricketer in his team.
While addressing a function on Thursday, Som said a Bangladeshi player should not be allowed to play in India as they are torturing the Hindus.
"A traitor like Shah Rukh Khan should understand that such players should not be allowed to play in India. Traitors like Shah Rukh Khan should understand that if you have reached this position today, it is because of the people of this country," he commented.
