Hyderabad, Jan. 30 -- BJP Legislative Party leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy criticized the state government for failing to deliver on its election promises and neglecting the welfare of the poor.

Speaking at a media conference held at the state party office, Nampally, here on Thursday, he alleged that the government has betrayed people from all sections of society by not fulfilling the 420 promises made during the elections.

Highlighting the housing crisis, Reddy questioned the allotment of only 3,500 houses despite receiving 1,90,000 applications from homeless individuals in the district.
