Ambedkarnagar, Aug. 11 -- In a tragic incident in Maganpur Mahimapur village under the jurisdiction of Jahangirpur police station, a 24-year-old local BJP leader, Anand Kanojia, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. Anand, a resident of Shahpur-Chhaura village and a former Mandal president of the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha, reportedly went to visit a young woman late Sunday night. According to police sources, the two had known each other for some time. During his visit, he was allegedly confronted by members of the woman's family.
