New Delhi, Nov. 26 -- To counter the opposition's deliberate spread of false narratives about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a nationwide public awareness campaign to dispel what it calls "misinformation and confusion" being propagated by opposition parties.
A central team, led by BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, has been formed to spearhead the campaign. The team is visiting states where the SIR exercise is underway, organizing workshops, and engaging directly with citizens to ensure accurate information reaches grassroots levels.
