Mumbai, Dec. 7 -- The Mumbai unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday launched its 'citizen meet' initiative, marking the start of a citywide outreach campaign across all 36 assembly constituencies ahead of the upcoming civic elections. The first meeting was held in Worli, the constituency represented by Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, and was addressed by Mumbai BJP president Ameet Satam.
The BJP said the objective of the series is to engage a broad cross-section of professionals and community leaders.
