Chandigarh, Nov. 8 -- The Punjab BJP has launched a new grassroots outreach initiative titled 'Pind Di Gal' (village interaction) in the Amritsar North Assembly constituency, aiming to connect directly with village communities, understand their concerns, and spread awareness about various Central government welfare schemes.

The campaign was inaugurated by BJP leader and former IFS officer Taranjit Singh Sandhu, along with party leader Akshay Sharma, from Dashmesh Avenue Panchayat.

The event witnessed participation from hundreds of residents representing different local panchayats, who raised issues related to electricity supply, drinking water, roads, sanitation, education, and employment.
