New Delhi, Sept. 29 -- The BJP today hailed India's commanding win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup final in Dubai, while criticizing Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for their silence following the triumph.
Addressing the media here, BJP spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi said, "India's triumph marks its ninth Asia Cup title, with the team securing a clean sweep by winning all matches, including a hat-trick of victories over Pakistan. Captain Suryakumar Yadav and his teammates deserve heartfelt congratulations."He also quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks, which likened the sporting success to the country's strategic achievements, such as Operation Sindoor.
