Deoria (UP), Oct. 31 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kisan Morcha in Deoria will send a congratulatory message to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on behalf of sugarcane farmers for his work for the betterment of farmers.
BJP district president Bhupendra Singh and BJP Kisan Morcha district president Pawan Mishra today said that previous non-BJP governments had damaged the sugar industry by selling off 21 mills of the corporation at throwaway prices.
"After the BJP government came to power in the state, a huge investment of Rs 12,000 crore was received, which led to the setting up of 4 new sugar mills, the re-operation of 6 closed mills and the expansion of 42 mills," they said.
