Puducherry, March 25 -- The BJP on Wednesday extended an invitation to senior Congress Leader and former Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, who was denied a ticket to contest the April 9 elections to the Territorial Assembly, to join the BJP.
Talking to newspersons, BJP State President Ramalignam saidMr Narayansamy should join the BJP for a better future.
He said the prospects of NDA winning the assembly elections in Puducherry was bright and attributed the prevailing confusion in the Opposition Congress-DMK INDI Alliance as one of the reasons.
He said a former Chief Minister (Narayanasamy) was not given a ticket in the Congress which has ignored him and not recognised his hard work.
