Pune, Jan. 8 -- Advocate Asim Sarode has levelled serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that it hatched a conspiracy to get a large number of candidates elected unopposed in the municipal corporation polls by misusing money and political power, and through intimidation.

He was speaking at a press conference held at the Congress Bhavan today.

Congress city senior vice-president Ajit Darekar, general secretary Prachi Dudhane and complainant Sameer Gandhi were present on the occasion.
