Lucknow, Sept. 18 -- Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav has said that the process of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign initiated by the Central Election Commission has become a means of creating fake votes.
Citing thousands of duplicate votes at the same address in Mahoba and Noida, Akhilesh Yadav also accused the BJP of land grabbing and disturbing law and order.
Addressing a press conference held at the party's state headquarters on Wednesday, Samajwadi Party President said that the SIR is going to be implemented nationwide, but information has been received from Mahoba that there are more than 4,000 votes at the same address while hundreds of duplicate votes are also found in Noida.
