Lucknow, Nov. 21 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav today said that the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh is in shambles under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.
In a statement issued here, Akhilesh said, "Criminals are openly committing murders. Incidents of murder, robbery and kidnapping are showing no signs of stopping. The BJP government's claim of zero tolerance regarding law and order is false. Under the BJP government, neither daughters, nor women, nor businessmen nor common people are safe."He said that incidents of murder, rape, injustice and atrocities are occurring daily in the state.
