Kolkata, April 11 -- Two time Trinamool Congress (TMC) legislator and state minister Tapas Roy is expected to find a musical chair contest this time from his Baranagar seat as he is pitted against popular Bengali actor and BJP's new horn Parno Mittra.

Though the seat is falling under the North 24 Parganas district, the area is practically within reach of this metropolis and has a mixed population of voters, who have already made their mind either to pick a male candidate or a female to represent them in the assembly.

In 2016, Tapas Roy won the seat by defeating Sukumar Ghosh from Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) with a margin of 16100 votes.
