Chennai, April 2 -- Strongly condemning the BJP-led union government's proposed Foreign Contribution Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2026, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin termed it as unjust, arbitrary and a direct attack on Christian NGOs, Churches and other minority institutions aimed at choking foreign funding and demanded its withdrawal in toto.

In a post on X, he slammed the Centre saying after attempting to take over Waqf properties, the BJP Government was now moving to choke foreign funding for other minority institutions.
