Bengaluru, Feb. 12 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday accused the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government of claiming the previous BJP government's achievements as its own.

He was reacting to Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot's address to the joint session of the State Legislature here.

Bommai described the Governor's address as "disappointing and bland", adding he had never heard such a lacklustre speech so far. "The speech doesn't mention any of the achievements of the present government. The works of the previous government had been shown as the achievements of the Congress government," he said.
