Bengaluru, Oct. 19 -- Former Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar today clarified that the BJP government did not impose any ban on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activities in school premises in 2013, countering claims made by the Congress party.
Shettar stated that while the Education Department had issued an opinion regarding a particular school in Bengaluru, this did not amount to a statewide prohibition of RSS programs.
He emphasised that the BJP administration maintained a neutral stance on the matter and that allegations of banning RSS activities were misleading.
