Chennai, Dec. 29 -- Painting the BJP as anti-women empowerment, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President MK Stalin on Monday evening charged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government with preventing women having power in Parliament and State Legislatures.
The way the Modi government had passed the 33 percent quota for women with unnecessary conditions offers enough proof that the saffron party is against women, he alleged.
"It is impossible to say when it will come into effect. 'Operation success, but patient dead' is how they operate! The BJP doesn't want you women to have power in the Parliament and the Legislative Assemblies",he said.
