Lucknow, Sept. 19 -- Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav today launched a scathing attack on the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh BJP government, alleging large-scale irregularities in the recruitment process and accusing it of running on "lies and plunder".

Yadav claimed that there was "arbitrariness and corruption in all recruitments" made by the state government, citing appointments made at the Lakhimpur Urban Co-operative Bank as an example.
