Patna, Oct. 21 -- Jan Suraaj founder and political strategist Prashant Kishor today accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using pressure tactics against his party's candidates, alleging that the ruling party was "afraid of decent candidates, not musclemen."While talking to news persons, Kishor alleged here that union Home Minister Amit Shah and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan personally intervened to force Jan Suraaj candidates to withdraw their nominations from the Bihar Assembly elections.

Kishor claimed that three of his party's candidates were coerced into withdrawing their nominations under pressure from senior BJP leaders.
