Hyderabad, Sept. 15 -- Telangana BJP President N Ramchandra Rao today extended full support to the bandh called by private college management associations across the state, demanding release of pending fee reimbursements.
Speaking to the media at the state party office in Nampally, he said the arrears of over Rs 8,000 crore have pushed private colleges into crisis, with many institutions unable to pay salaries to professors, lecturers and staff.
"The Congress government has not released a single paisa in the last two years. Despite repeated assurances during the past six months, no arrears have been cleared," he said.
