Patna, Oct. 14 -- The BJP which released its first list of candidates for Bihar assembly elections has repeated 13 ministers, including both deputy chief ministers, 48 MLAs, and expressed confidence in the leadership nine women.

The list which was finalised after brain storming exercises done in the meeting of the Central Election Committee of the BJP, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and other members of the committee, reflects a mix of continuity and change, as the party has fielded 48 sitting MLAs while dropping several senior leaders, including Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav and former minister Amrendra Pratap Singh.
