Bengaluru, March 24 -- In a remark that has quickly gone viral, the BJP on Tuesday dubbed Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as the "Kerala CM", intensifying a political storm over the state government's decision to release Rs 10 crore for landslide rehabilitation in Wayanad, the Lok Sabha constituency of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi.

The Opposition used the sharp jibe to question the Chief Minister's priorities, alleging that funds were being diverted outside the state at a time when several sectors within Karnataka were facing financial strain.
