Mumbai, Nov. 28 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday accused the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction of selectively focusing on Hindu repeat voters while allegedly ignoring Muslim repeat voters, a move the party claims is aimed at securing "green votes" in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections.
The allegations were made by BJP state media department head Navnath Ban during a press conference at the party's state office here.
Ban alleged that Uddhav Thackeray group leaders, including Kishori Pednekar, repeatedly speak only about Hindu repeat voters and avoid any reference to Muslim repeat voters.
He presented what he claimed were names and booth numbers of Muslim repeat voters from Aditya Thackeray's Worli constituency....
