Bengaluru, Aug. 25 -- Amid allegations of a deliberate campaign to malign the reputation of Dharmasthala, one of Karnataka's most respected religious and cultural institutions, the Bharatiya Janata Party's Bengaluru South district unit on Monday launched a march titled 'Dharmarakshanege Dharmasthala Yatre' (Pilgrimage to Dharmasthala for Protection of Dharma).
Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya, who shared details and photographs of the event on social media, said the march was aimed at exposing what he termed a "systematic conspiracy and misinformation drive" targeting Dharmasthala.
