Shimla, April 2 -- Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur launched a sharp attack on the Himachal Pradesh government, alleging administrative chaos, lack of vision in governance and attempts to mislead the public on key issues, including the state's financial situation and welfare schemes.

Addressing mediapersons after the conclusion of the Assembly session on Thursday, Thakur said the budget presented by the government led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu was "disappointing and devoid of vision".

He claimed that for the first time in the state's history, the budget size had declined compared to the previous year and accused the government of trying to hide its failures by blaming the Centre.
