Agartala, April 26 -- The ruling BJP in Tripura has been facing criticism after vandalising the opposition CPI-M's party offices in two places and assaulting a number of its leaders in North Tripura and Agartala, when the entire country united against the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam in Kashmir.
According to the report, CPI-M had organised statewide rallies, mass sit-in demonstrations, and deputations demanding 200 days of work and Rs 340 wages for MGNREGA, immediate payment of pending wages, and regular supply of essential commodities at subsidised rates through PDS before 31 Rural Development Blocks across the state.
