Kottayam, Nov. 8 -- BJP Kerala State Vice President Advocate Shon George has alleged that Congress is secretly aligning with Jamaat-e-Islami across the state, accusing the party of compromising national interests for electoral gains.
Speaking on the political situation in Erattupetta, Shon George said that although the Congress publicly claims to have "no tacit understanding" with Jamaat-e-Islami or its political wing, the Welfare Party of India, the links between them are now evident. "The Congress-Jamaat-e-Islami alliance in Erattupetta is no longer a secret-it is clearly visible," he asserted.
