Bengaluru, March 16 -- The Karnataka BJP on Sunday launched a blistering attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of orchestrating an "open war against the Indian State" by championing policies that allegedly prioritise appeasement over constitutional principles.

In a strongly worded post on X, the BJP slammed the decision of the Congress government in Karnataka to introduce reservations for Muslims in government contracts, branding it a "Black Day for the Constitution." The saffron outfit alleged, "The party that crushed democracy during the Emergency is now tearing apart the Constitution to serve its vote bank."
