Bengaluru, Sept. 12 -- Senior BJP leader and Opposition chief whip in the Karnataka Legislative Council N Ravikumar today launched a sharp attack on the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government, alleging that its policies were dividing Hindu society and excessively favouring minorities.

Addressing media at the BJP's state headquarters, Jagannath Bhavan, Ravikumar demanded an immediate clarification from the Chief Minister on what he described as the "creation of several new Christian castes".
