Patna, Aug. 29 -- A confrontation broke out in Patna today when BJP and Congress supporters clashed over alleged derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Rahul Gandhi-led Opposition's ongoing Voter Rights Yatra.
According to reports, BJP workers took out a protest march in the morning, voicing their anger over the remarks. The demonstrators reached the gates of the Congress headquarters in Patna where they raised slogans against the party.
The situation escalated when Congress workers attempted to stop them, leading to heated arguments that soon turned into physical clashes. Sticks were reportedly brandished by members from both sides.
