Jaipur, July 5 -- Illegal sand mining turned out to be new flash-point in the ongoing "war-of-words" between the ruling BJP and the Opposition the Congress in Rajasthan on Saturday as both sides levelled accusations of corruption during each other's rule.

The issue cropped up at a programme in Dausa yesterday as senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot yet again made a scathing attack on the Bhajan Lal Sharma led government.

Talking to the media during a brief stopover in Dausa enroute Hindon from Jaipur yesterday, Gehlot said, "May it be Dausa, Dholpur or Tonk, the sand mafia has established its terrorising dominance over the government in all-over the state.
