Hyderabad, May 14 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) spokesperson Syed Nizamuddin on Wednesday alleged that the BJP and BRS are acting as "distraction gangs," aiming to divert public attention from the Congress government's growing popularity and its welfare initiatives.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan alongside former GHMC floor leader Md Wajid Hussain, Nizamuddin said both parties launch coordinated misinformation campaigns and personal attacks whenever the Congress announces or implements major schemes. He accused them of resorting to "lies, theatrics, and false alarms" to hijack public discourse.
