Bhubaneswar, May 1 -- The Biju Janata Dal (BJD), the principal Opposition party in Odisha, on Thursday announced a statewide "Nari Adhikar Abhiyan" (Women's Rights Campaign) from May 10 to May 25 across all Assembly constituencies to counter the BJP over the implementation of the Women's Reservation Bill. Launching a sharp attack on the BJP, senior BJD leaders alleged that despite the Women's Reservation Bill being passed in 2023, the BJP government has failed to implement it and is instead resorting to political theatrics to mislead women voters.
